W czasie pobytu uczniowie polscy uczestniczyli w zajęciach lekcyjnych, warsztatach projektowych ‘Feed your Mind’ dotyczących jedzenia, szczególnie czekolady.

On Thursday we visited the Mare Nostrum Aquarium where we had the opportunity to see many species of fishes and sea creatures which made a great impression on us. We saw big sharks, rays and penguins. Then we were in the Odyseum shopping mall.

We spent weekend together with our partners, each one in a different way, certainly no one had a reason to be bored. On Saturday I was on the beach in Palavas les flots, while on Sunday I visited an old town, Saint Guilhem le désert. Shortly speaking, I had a great weekend.

On Friday we went to another  city called Seté. It is an old town by sea. We started our trip on Mont Saint-Claire. After admiring the view from the top we went down to the down town. There was another awesome view at the small harbor with plenty of boats. We visited this place. Later we went by ship but in spite of the sun it was really windy and cold. We saw Laguna and a plantation with oysters. During this trip we had a lunch and we ate a lot of good things ( hot chocolate in Havana Club made us feel warmer ) .When we were on the way back to Montpellier we dropped in a factory of biscuits in Balaruc. We tasted some sweet things and we could buy what we wanted. It was a good trip!

At the weekend we could get up later. On Saturday we were on the beach. The weather was nice so we could go to the sea. We had a lot of fun. Later we went to the  shopping centre. On Sunday we were in the park, there we relaxed and talked in English. After we went to church and a museum of modern art. We saw a lot of strange things. In my opinion these days were fine.

During The International Forum ( on Monday and Tuesday) organized by the French school for all their partners of youth exchanges we could meet people from countries from all over the world: China, Hong Kong, Sweden, Italy, Egypt, Switzerland, USA, Ireland and France. We learnt plenty of things about these countries which we've never known, for example about schools, traditions and culture. We took part in a lot of workshops and culture presentation. It was a great opportunity to get know people from these nations. I think it was amazing to be there, talk with people who live thousands kilometers away from my house. We had a really great time together. We may say now that we have friends in countries all over the world.

What will definitely surprise a Pole when coming to France is surely the extremely different meal and eating planning. Only three main meals could pose a challenge to a person accustomed to Polish eating culture. Being experienced with French willingness to start a conversation I advise that you should start talking about your native country without being asked. Our correspondents did not show much interest in talking with us, however I must admit that there were some worth-while interactions.

Even if we did not get along well with the French, the International Forum certainly compensated for it. Presenting your own country in front of newly met friends was without a doubt fun. Going to France  is surely worth it because of the breath-taking architecture, natural landscape and delicious and unique cuisine. I recommend trying the famous French dishes, like frog legs which were surprisingly eatable and digestible. Personally, I had a great time in France. Newly created friendships will last for a long time. So I recommend you travelling to France and experience similar things to me.
